Seeing how the whole "post a picture" thing works via the app.

Unschooling records

So I read in an unschooling blog that a great way to keep track of what my kids learn would be to keep a blog of all the stuff we do. I said to myself, "hey, dont I have a blog somewhere. Yes, Self, you do!" and after much confussion and irritation (google + ?)here I am, again. I am not saying I will keep it up. My goodness, no! But I am blogging today, the day before Skip's 4th Birthday. So, woop-woop, way to celebrate. ...okay how do I spell check blogger?

update

In case you couldn't tell this blog is dying from neglict. Pat spends his free time writing articals, editing stuff and othr stuff I don't understand. I have got a job that I get to take the kids too more often than not. Then I obsess with vintage(1940-1965) fashion, bees, getting this house out of chaos that seems to rein and gardening which I am not doing this year.
Bronte wishes to let you know that she really enjoys drawing. Sam loves cars and music.
I am not sure when I'll update again.
God bless you,
Tiffany

the nook

I am having some issues reading blogs on my nook. Regina, my laptop, passed away earlier this year. I have tried to update the blog on my phone, but the picture is tiny. Hubby bought me a nook to use in homeschooling. The wonderul thing is great for my digital books. I do miss just holding a book in my hands and breathing in the scent. Not to worry, the nook will never replace real books in my heart, just some of those computer pritouts that get left all over the house.

Getting back on the writing horse

So I'm trying to get back into the freelancer groove, and I've discovered something I'd forgotten: Rust takes time and effort to shake off.

I don't take enough "me" time and make effective use of it. I'm easily distracted; I've never been all that great at focusing like a laser on something, and the truth is that I envy the hell out of those who can. And sadly, it's my own damn fault for squandering the "me" time that I do take.

All in all, it makes the writing difficult. What I need to do is keep pushing...otherwise I'll never improve, either as a writer or as a person.

Here is a list of Paper mache artists that are making me absolutely happy:
The Fab Julie Arkell. Google her and get a load of her funtabulous(my grandmother says funky is a cuss word. So I can't use it,boo.)fashion.
Jonni Good.Check out her Hippo. Wow!
Johanna Parker.Just love her style. Wonderful illustrations and Really cute black cat. I love black cats.
Well that's just some inspiration that I am hearting right now.
