Yes, I know I'm alienating a large portion of my audience, who say to me, "Talk more about your daughter! Post more pictures!" And you know, I will. Soon, even; I'm trying to get back into the habit of regular posting here, to try and keep my batteries charged, as it were.
But for right now, I'm going to talk about something I know a few things about, and one of those things is gaming. I'm able to blog about gaming at this time of day because I got off from work early, which is kinda nice.
First thing I want to do is give a huge "Congratulations!" to Rob and Adam and the whole FanPro team for the great job they've done with Shadowrun 4th Edition. The book itself looks dynamite, and the system seems pretty cool as well. The big congrats, though, go to the writers and playtesters for doing such a great job. I'm not playing SR4 right now -- my mood and gaming preferences are elsewhere at the moment -- but it wouldn't be fair of me to not let them know how cool the book is (and I'm long, long overdue for this). Congrats to them, again, for their recent GenCon performance, where they won two first-place ENnie Awards (a fan-nominated and fan-chosen industry award). Nice job, guys.
I'd post more, but this laptop's not cooperating at the moment, so I want to post this before it shuts down again. I'll post more later.
