My First Thanksgiving Part 1

Hi. Brontë here, dictating to Daddy. Well, my first Thanksgiving has come and gone, and it was a lot of fun. It was so fun I got to do it twice, once with Mommy's family and once with Daddy's. I got to meet some of my relatives for the very first time, and that was neat.

My first Thanksgiving was here at my own house; Mommy and Daddy made sure everything was really nice for Nana and Memaw and Pawpaw and everybody. My Aunt Heather and Uncle James brought as a puppy. Her name is Maddie, and she's very soft and likes to lick everything. Everybody had a good time, and we all ate lots of good food. Memaw and Pawpaw brought turkey, Nana brought mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, and Aunt Heather brought green bean casserole for Mommy.

A couple of days later, we all went to Grammy's house so we could have Thanksgiving all over again. I got to meet my Uncle Scott and Aunt Elizabeth for the first time, which was neat. I really liked them, but I like all my other aunts and uncles, too. There was a lot of good food here, too. I think I could learn to like this.

Well, there's more to say, but it's late and I'm up past my bedtime. I'll get Daddy to post more for me later.


11/23/2006 - This whole "solid food" thing is pretty cool. I ate like I'd never had food before in my whole life!
