Energy needs

Well, I've finally gotten to the point where enough's enough...and that's pretty significant coming from me. But yeah...it's there for me. Gas at $4/gallon, and no signs of things improving significantly...that's kinda pushed it for me.

So I'm pushing for T. Boone Pickens' plan (click on the picture below). It's not so much about the environment for me (much, I'm sure, to my wife's chagrin); I think a lot of the enviromental disaster out there is man-made, all right...in a recording studio or a conference room somewhere. I'm for drilling in ANWR and off-shore an dincreasing our domestic supply.

But, when an oilman like Boone Pickens starts talking about alternative energy, like a 4,000 megawatt windfarm in Pampa, I think we might need to listen to him.
