Last year, I took a photography class, the first formal class I'd taken in...well, in a long, long time. It was a carefully considered step in changing the direction of my life. Well, my final project was to create a slide show, set to music, telling a story. This is what I came up with; it just took me a while to find the device I'd stored it on.
The music is "Southern Accent," as performed by Johnny Cash. It was originally a Tom Petty tune that Johnny did on his Unchained album a few years before he passed away. It's copyrighted, and no infringement to that copyright is intended with this video. I just thought it was a beautiful song that helped tell the story I was wanting to tell.
EDIT: I got a 92 on the project, but I wasn't in class to hear the rest of my classmates offer critique since we were in Dallas for Brontë's surgery that week. I never did find out what the prof's complaints were as far as the 8 points he counted off.

This is beautiful P, really really good! The music fits the subject matter perfectly, and the photos themselves are great. What was your critique on the project?
PS: I miss Canyon so much...
