From the age of three and up I was always trying to run away and live with them. Not that I didn't love my Mom, but they tell the best stories. My Memaw makes friends (or even family) standing in lines. One time we were in a parking lot in New Mexico, when she started taking to this guy in a van. Turns out she noticed he was from Texas(not surprising) and after a 10 minute conversation she knew that he was a 3rd cousin twice removed. And that his Momma was sick. I think she later she even sent a get well card. My Pawpaw is quieter but has an incredibly fun personality, the hearing lose makes it harder for him to express now days.
