Little kids, we've learned, love scissors. We've learned this the hard way. I was already feeling out of it since I had a dental appointment today and I can't feel my face. I'm deciding to call it a day after all, instead of toughing it out at work, when my wife calls me in tears.

Brontë had gone exploring and found Mommy's hair styling gear. Taking out the scissors, she lopped off her pony tail, which had been on the top of her head this morning, and then she chopped off her bangs for good measure. This picture is just of the hair she removed all by herself. The pictures below are of the child's head before Tiff attempted some repair work.

Then came the repair attempt. Tiff started in with scissors to try and fix the damage, but it didn't work out so well. Out came the clippers. Below are a couple of pics showing how she looked immediately post-haircut. She then went into the bathtub and got her hair washed. Once she's dry, and her parents aren't quite so upset with her, we'll get a picture of her hair once it's styled.

-gasp- Oh my gosh. Poor Tif! If it's any consolation, Bronte's face is really pretty, so you can get away with hats and scarves until it's grown back out enough to give you some style options. -hugs all around-
At least it was only tears shed and not blood! She's gonna have a hip, edgy look for a while!
we r VERY greatful that she is unharmed. That was one reason I was so upset, she could have so easily hurt herself. SHe is in BIG trouble. And we will NOT underesitmate her curiousity nor creativity again.
OMG, I didn't realize it was that bad. Poor baby, well I guess it is poor Tiffany. She doesn't care that much. I'm sure when you fix it will look cute. I do have an overwhelming urge to laugh though, sorry I am your sister, and she is soo much like like you...LOL...I know I'm mean. Luv ya
