Kidney Scans

Miss B and Sam had sonos of their kidneys last weekend. Sam's scan was just to check and make sure there wasn't anything missed earlier. The Doctor called to tell us what he found. Sam's scans were "boringly normal." We are all thankful for this. Bronte's on the other hand were jaw dropping interesting. 2 years after her surgery after we were told to not expect anymore improvement than we had already gratefully received a year later. Bronte's one "good" kidney showed "Marked" improvement. I noticed when the picture came up that it looked different almost "normal." There is still some dilation but there was more kidney tissue than dark space unlike the other times. This news is wonderful. We haven't got her chemical tests back yet but we are hoping for this to be at least the same as before if not better. I don't know why she complains of it hurting her but it might just be the scar tissue on her back that is really the cause. My family has a history of very sensitive scar tissue.
I am so very happy I must go cry a bit...I know, I am such a girl.
