The white would remind me of snow, so what do you think of a small stand (like3)of tall pine or fir trees? Make them a dark fir color and it would look good with the couch and most of your other things. Put them on the wall to the left of the window on the back wall, or maybe that one on the kitchen side. Just sayin...
