Well I said I was tired of my gold walls.

So now they are now kind of a dirty cream. WE moved! SO I didn't even have to paint. I like my new little house. It is a bit retro, which I like. The kitchen has an orange/red boomerang counter with the metal edge and old hard wear. Matches the orangy-red from my Pyrex mixing bowl set. Very cool. We also have a laundry room/office/mud room which is great because my hubby often walks in mud.
I might give a photo tour when we get all moved in.
I have decided to include books I have read lately, in the blog, I might also give my thoughts on them.
High Society: The Life of Grace Kelly. By Donald Spoto. In theory I like Biographies but I rarely actually finish them. That wasn't a problem with this. I really enjoyed this one. I was hoping a bit of Kelly's polish would rub of on me, Not so far.
The Catcher In The Rye. By J.D.Salinger. My Husband informs me that the US Government keeps track of sales of this book due to Serial Killers obsession with it. I enjoyed it but I can't understand why a it would attract Psychopaths. There was a lot of cussing which turned me off at first. There were a few of very witty usages of foul launguage, I enjoyed like a 6 year old just learning about bad words. Strange right? It came to a fitting if abrupt end. Having read it and enjoyed this novel I can't see my self reading it again. I did write some of the more witty turn of phrase in my journal so I can turn to them when I need a twisted giggle.
Finally, The Lucky Guide To Mastering Any Style by Kim France and Andrea Linett.
I got this thinking I should adjust my look to a more professional tailored look. I was thinking I wanted to be what they called "American Classic." But after studying each of the style I found that I was very easily fitting in with "Posh Eclectic." All I had to do was edit some of my frumpy house wife clothing out. I don't really see this as putting a label on myself. But really more of a "AH Ha" feeling, I make sense to me now. No I don't dress like other people in my area and that is okay. Of course living in a bit of beige town I will stand out a little. I wouldn't mind owning this book because I thought it really fun.

Well that all for now,
God is love!
Tiff
