Well, things are a little topsy-turvy here at Casa Goodman. Both Tiffany and Brontë have been sick for days; the baby, in fact, has been since Saturday. For a little while, we thought she was just having allergies, and then we thought it was a cold, but when it didn't go away we finally took her to the doctor.
Good thing, too, since it turns out that she has RSV, which can be a fairly serious thing. Fortunately, we caught it early and the nurse practitioner we saw last night at our pediatrician's office says that she's quite likely to make a complete recovery.
Along the way, however, there are breathing treatments. While she has now grown used to them, and even helps Tiff out with them, the first couple of encounters with the nebulizer were anything but calm and peaceful. The screaming and crying, while hard on the baby, were really really really hard on Mommy and Daddy. I am exceedingly glad that we seem to be past that part; it makes my life a lot less stressful when my baby isn't crying and screaming.
In other news, we've finally gotten all the moving done in the county for awhile, or at least I hope we have. Now it's time to get ready for the changes to Daylight Saving Time. I must remember to thank my congresscritter appropriately at the first available opportunity.

Give get well wishes to Bronte from me. Ashton went through RSV when he was about 6 months old. That was fun, sitting in the Pediatric ICU. Then there was the fun with the nebulizer--which we had to use for him every time he got a cold until he was about five--just to make sure he was able to keep breathing properly through the congestion.
