Miss B went in for testing on Monday. We don't know anything, yet. She got stuck 3 times. "poor Wittle thing." to quote her. I didn't get to go in with her of course. Patrick was able to get off work and entertain her during her wait. He said that she wondered where I was. I was getting popcorn, hot cocoa, biscotti and taking a nap...that's right, I fell asleep in public. Don't think I drooled. She was happy to see...well maybe me but for sure the box of popcorn that I saved for her. One might think I enjoyed myself but one would have to discount the wondering about what was taking so long. She gave me a really dirty look when I told her I missed her. I tried to explain that it wasn't good for the little baby to be around those kind of pictures, which I am sure doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Today we have to go to the pediatrician because she seems to have an ear ache. She woke us up at 3 am complaining about her ear. This would only be her second ear infection ever. She complains about them often but it hasn't been an infection. We might need to get her ears checked because her kidney problem is often accompanied by hearing or eye problems. To me she seems fine. They checked her when she was young and she had perfect eyes and ears. I do have a problem with getting her attention but I think that is hereditary...she inherited it from her father.
