Dr. Visit

I wasn't going to get a sono this visit but Peanut's heart beat couldn't be found so happily I got one. Peanut is fine, just doesn't like to be smashed. Which considering who Peanut has for a big sister, who could complain? Miss B is very anti-baby right now...She pushed one of her baby cousins down the stairs (2 small steps) then clothes-lined the youngest. She is very challenging. We have started a new program called Raising Godly Tomatoes because what we were doing obviously wasn't working. Miss B likes the being attached to Mommy's side all of the time thing. We are still working on potty training, but that will get done when it happens, this isn't a discipline issue.
I AM SO SORRY ETHAN AND AARON THAT MY CHILD ACTED LIKE A SPOILED ROTTEN BRAT AND I REALLY HOPE THAT EVERYBODY RECOVERS (both parents and babies).
God Bless Ya'll,
Tiffany

Both Ethan and Aaron (and parents) are fine. I have a theory that goes like this...Miss B has been told that "we are getting another baby." Maybe she thinks it could be Ethan or Aaron, but could it be that she thinks you are trading her in for another? Maybe she would be better if she was told she is getting a little sib...so she will have someone to play with and who will be like Heather's kids in that Heather has added a kid rather than replacing. As for the perceived decipline problems... 3 yr old people need to know what and what not they can do. You and B will both make it through this. She will potty train when she no longer feels threatened about her future standing in the family. She needs to know she is still #1 and nothing, not even a new baby, can change that.

WOW! Tiffany...I went to the Tomato lady's page, and I can't tell you how impressed I am. You have hit exactly on what you need to be doing. Good job!
