Middy haircut

I just gave myself this haircut. What! You cut your own hair? No wonder Miss B thinks that's okay. I was trained at a reputable school. I even had a license once, so I am a-okay in bathroom haircuts....maybe? My hair really shrunk up. It is still long, just more layers, which is what I've been needing. My curls have been acting a bit depressed and lank. I also added more highlights...hoped the pink would fade (nope!)...wish my other colors had this staying power. I am now setting it. I might take a picture if it isn't too scary.

Sam still only has one tooth but he has had a regular attitude this week. He's been pushing, pulling, screaming, hitting, kicking, biting and I wonder where my sweet little boy went this week. He is still very cuddly (clingy) with Mommy, it's "zsa zsa" (that's what he calls Miss B) who is the biggest victim. Mostly she doesn't seem to notice. Has anybody ever heard of the terrible pre-ones? Teeth? Any ideas on what could cause such weird behavior? He is walking (running)...he won't admit it and if he notices he stops.

Miss B has decided that she doesn't need to ask to get food from the kitchen and now open the fridge to take out the peanut butter. I caught her sitting in the floor licking peanut butter off a butter knife. She is very careful to get the dull knives...mostly because I keep the sharp ones in the knife block on the counter.

She tossed a fit, informing me that she was big enough to "cook my own sandwich. Stop treating me like a baby." I blame the TV and this pre-teen and teen attitude culture. So she has been doing more home school and less TV. She is learning scripture and poetry memorization, copy work, reading, kindergarten math, artist study and other things that should keep "big" kids busy.
