what we are doing.

Bronte is obsessed with the word banana. She has asked me to add it to her handwriting work today.
She has been very helpful in the garden and seems to really enjoy playing in the dirt.
She says she wants to be a "farming mommy" when she grows up.
Sam isn't as interested yet. He likes to just sit in the grass and play with sticks. He will crawl off the blanket just to sit in the grass.
I have crocheted a wash cloth for the kitchen which I am redecorating slowly. I really like the texture of the wash cloths. Very good for scrubbing. I am also still crocheting Bronte hats. She really likes them. Hopefully she wont feel the need to give herself a haircut if she has interesting hats.
I have also been working on rugs. I've been doing some locker hooking. I really enjoy this. It is relaxing and productive. I hooked a wall hanging of the star ship enterprise for Patrick's birthday. He seemed to like it. Locker hooking isn't the most free form of techniques and so I will probably not use it in such a way again. Right now I am doing rug inspired by a primitive log cabin quilt. I am really enjoying it...probably because it is so much easier than my last rug. I may try another rug making technique at some point. Right now this suits me well. I can upcycle fabric scraps.
Patrick is still job hunting. He updated his resume and has sent some out. Please keep him in your prayers.
Well thats all that I can think to tell everybody right now so..
G-D bless,
Bronte and Sam's Mommy.
