Amazing

A miracle has occurred. Now others might not see it as such but to two sleep deprived parents it is beyond amazing and a blessing from G-d. Sam slept through the night. See, this has only happened once before. That's right we haven't slept all the way through the night in about a year. I think it started affecting us emotionally. My doctor gave me something about a month ago that knocked me out and helped ME a lot (not Patrick, poor guy). I offered him something else but it didn't seem to help.

In other news, Sam has 5 teeth on top and none on bottom. He has the front 4 and then he has one molar coming in (which makes the full night of sleep even more amazing!).

He also has taken to talking to the cat (and anyone else) when she meows. He responds "ow" anytime ANYBODY says "Meow." Miss B finds this hilarious! She does it a lot.

On the art front. Patrick got me a sketchbook. I made the mistake of trying to draw the children. Who are horrible artist models, by the way. I don't draw fast enough to get anything down. I may have to use photos to get these kids down on paper. They move A LOT...constantly. Or might get them when they sleep. Bronte doesn't take a nap so it will be harder to get her without photos.

Well thats all for now.

G-D is LOVE,
Tiffany

I have resisted asking this, but I have lasted as long as I can. Why do you put the hyphen between G and d?

Mostly I do that to remind myself of the Holiness of His name. Some times I catch myself saying "GOD bless" or "GOD save us" without really thinking about it. But When I take the time to respect his name I apperciate more what Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew) did for me. He gave me a connection to GOD that I wouldn't have without Him. I, as a gentile, can now call GOD "Abba."
So in short I do to force myself to take the time to praise and honor HIM. Another note I learned about writing His Name with a - in the middle when I was studing Jesus the Jew. The Hebrews often put that there as respect.
So that's my reason. You will notice that do it both ways. Sometime's if I thing I am getting obsessed with my looks and self I don't use capitals anywhere else but in talking about G-D.
